Jiliguala

With 10-million users, Jiliguala 叽里呱啦 is the sixth-most downloaded app, globally, for English learning on the iTunes App Store. I helped to establish their visual brand. I directed, shot, and produced an educational video series called 小学堂 which Jiliguala founders attribute to the success of their 10 million RMB in Class A fundraiser to this video series. I then taught their staff how to use the collaterals I created for the brand so it would maintain a consistent identity in the long-term.

When Jiligaga decided to expand their audience beyond being China’s top English learning app for children under the age of 6, I worked with them to determine their market position within the global landscape and strategically tell their brand story and ethos so that both their internal team and external audience can understand the foundation to their product and passion towards English learning for all children no matter their background or circumstance.
